GLOBAL SPRINT CHALLENGE BONUS AND PRIZE
US$1M BONUS
A US$1 million bonus will be on offer for the 2010 Global Sprint Challenge. To claim the bonus a horse must win a minimum of three Group 1 races across three different countries during the 2010 Global Sprint Challenge.
The bonus will be split, 75% (US$750,000) to the horse’s owners and 25% (US$250,000) to the horse’s trainer.
In the event of more than one bonus qualifier, the US$1 million pool will be divided amongst the winners.
CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY
The Champion Sprinter Trophy will be awarded to any horse that accumulates 42 points or above in a single season, and participates in challenge races in at least three (3) countries.

Double points will apply for horses competing in Group 1 races outside their racing jurisdiction (see the CONDITIONS page for jurisdictions).
Championship Trophy
A trophy worthy of outstanding achievement and success is the essential basis of this design. The iconic logo of The Global Sprint Challenge is prominent, encompassing the globe at its apex. It rises from the base with all the racing clubs and organisations represented. It is individually crafted from sterling silver with gilded details giving emphasis to the importance of the series. The preciousness and lasting qualities of the sterling silver are highlighted by the fine craftsmanship of the gold & silversmith, metal spinner, engraver and gilder, which are co-ordinated to achieve a prestigious trophy for a global event. |
