DESCRIPTION OF RACE

The Takamatsunomiya Kinen is contested over 1200 metres on a left-handed turf track. The race starts from the back straight, with gradual slope going down the corner and after travelling 100m into the homestretch of 412m, there will be a steep uphill of 2m before reaching the winning post.
