DESCRIPTION OF RACE


The King’s Stand Stakes is run on the final five furlongs (1000 metres) of the straight mile, with the course rising gradually throughout from the start to the winning post. The King’s Stand is the first of two major sprints run at Royal Ascot, Europe’s premier flat race meeting.
