DESCRIPTION OF RACE

The Hong Kong Sprint is one of the world's richest sprint races on turf and is always run on the second Sunday in December. The race is run right-handed on a track that is flat, 30.5 metres wide with a home straight of approximately 430 metres. A "Good" track surface is highly likely in December.

The race is limited to 14 runners and the anthem of the winning country is played during the presentation ceremony. The day features four Group 1
International turf races and is the biggest single-day sporting event in Hong Kong.
